Chavis Carter: Murder VS. Suicide

http://www.npr.org/blogs/thetwo-way/2012/08/20/159416070/death-of-handcuffed-man-in-police-car-ruled-a-suicide.

After investigating this article it honestly makes no sense to me.  How can someone shoot themselves in the temple while being handcuffed in the backseat of a police car?  Guess you could be asking yourself that same question.

What I am noticing is that it seems like the police are constantly covering up these outrageous stories, and more and more people are being killed.  I guess that it is nothing new being that we went through some of these same issues during the civil rights movement.

It is funny to me that a man can kill a man and get the death penalty, but if I police officer is involved he gets time off with pay.  Maybe I am in the wrong profession.  Maybe I should have become a police officer, then I could be as corrupt, and dirty as I wanted.  Or I could be a politician and change the laws that involve these dirty cops and get them off of the force.

Most of the individuals I know have a phobia of the police.  Not because of the color of their skin, but because of the racial profiling that is being practiced.  I have been to jail and it is nothing nice, nor is it anything to brag about.  It taught me that I want to be on the right side of the law.
